A darkened trauma

They provoked us by pointing out our complexions, judging us unwantedly by our appearances.

We were discriminated by being categorized under black or white, in which they made white seem superior to the rest.

We were put down to their feet, being criticized and abandoned for no reason found.

We weren’t made to feel as privileged as they were, therefore reducing every opportunity which sprung up for us to come up high.

We’ve been called over our skin tones, to make us feel hoarse and insecure about our living.

It’s funny how they bother about the color we’re expanded all over, in spite of us giving no importance to it.

Racism is one of the largest criteria millions around us face everyday. Character is ought to be chosen over complexion and color, which in reality is portrayed entirely opposite.~ Samyuktha Sampath Saturday, 17/2/2018. 6:30.P.M
